Children's Ministries
2010-2011 Preschool Registration
ReRegistration for the upcoming 2010-2011 school year is available to those families whose children are currently or have previously attended KOG Preschool, and KOG church members.
Registration for all others will begin on Monday, March 1 and will continue until classes are full. Be watching for further details. Register early to get the class you need!

Health
Strength for Everyday Living
Starting Monday, July 5
Monday and Thursday mornings, 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Strengthen your muscles, increase balance, flexibility and have fun with other KOG mambers. Gretchen Schlict facilitates the class. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, bring a large towel or mat; hand weights are available for use, leg weights may be purchased.
Register at the Welcome Center with $15 donation

Weight Watchers of Arizona
Next series begins Saturday, August 7.
Saturdays, at 9:30 a.m, in the Rehearsal Room
New 10 week series is scheduled to begin Saturday, July 31; visitors are welcomed to attend the meeting on July 24 at no cost. Over the past 9 ½ months 500+ pounds has been lost by those who have been participating in the KOG meetings. No food is off limit; weight loss goals have been attained by portion control, encouragement from the group, and individual’s commitment toward their weight loss.  Come see what a Weight Watchers meeting is; meet our enthusiastic Weight Watchers leader.  Registration for the 10 weeks is $140 (payable to KOG); includes educational meetings and handouts.  Contact: Karen Hernandez, Director of Health Ministries

Craft Night

Outreach
Paz de Cristo
September 12 from 4:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Each month volunteers from KOG prepare meals, serve and clean up at Paz de Cristo, a community-based organization located near Broadway and Country Club in Mesa. YOU can become a part of this rewarding experience, too. Sign up at the Welcome Center on Sundays or call the church office weekdays. We need 16 volunteers each month.

Mission: Puerto Rico
Cristo Victorioso Lutheran Church. Vega Baja, P.R. has now received all permits and has begun construction of their first church building on land which KOG helped them acquire debt free. Our thanks for all gifts received thus far.

Lutheran College Bound?
KOG's L.E.A.P. (Lutheran Educational Aid Program) provides financial aid to those students from our church attending a Lutheran college or seminary. Contact Roger in the church office if either of these are in your plans.
