Adult Recreation Opportunities

Our adult recreation activities serve to connect people to one another and to Christ’s Body.
Games – Crafting – Sewing

Weekly games such as Dominoes, crafts such as Card-Making and sewing for Stitch-A-Smile are great ways to connect and build friendships.

Holy Hikers

There are many beautiful places to explore God’s beauty right in here in the valley! If you love getting out into nature we invite to join our Holy Hikers group on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Each season we try to do one “all ages friendly” trail and one “moderate-difficult” trail in an effort to accommodate everyone. The remaining trails are typically rated “moderate.” If you have a favorite trail to suggest – please do!

*Please sign-up so we can inform you of any changes by emailing Jessica at

Game Night

Meeting the last Friday of every month. Join in the fun at 6pm! Bring yourself, your family and friends, your favorite board game and an optional snack to share. No RSVP is necessary, but keep an eye out for updates.

*We are currently looking for interest in bringing back this group. If you would like to lead it please email

Co-Ed Golf League

This is a fellowship league and is open to all skill levels. There is a wide range of players in the group and handicaps are established so all scores are competitive. It is one of the longest-running fellowship groups at KOG. There are two seasons, Spring and Fall, that run approximately 2 months each. Golf is a great time to escape life’s pressures, to exercise and to enjoy some of God’s beautiful creation. After nine holes, we gather in the restaurant for some refreshments and time to reflect on the best shot of the day. We have an awards dinner at the Shalimar Club House on the last day of each season and award some very unusual golf prizes!
